African Arts and Crafts

This program helps women earn needed income to support their families. SOA partnered with  Villages who trained our women to make beach/shopping bags, mats etc from African palm leaves. The first group of 20 women who received training are now training more women in the community. The crafts are sold through  Villages, a fair trade group distributing crafts on a world market.
